Adolfo Romero “El Cholfo” Chilean Music and TRÄ•KÁL!
When we are open there’s Live Music! Tonight November 15th 7-10pm, La Cour, French Restaurant & Jazz Club, presents Adolfo Romero “El Cholfo”.
Tonight We are celebrating
Using only the finest natural Patagonian ingredients and water, TRÄ•KÁL starts with apples and pears. We then triple-distill the spirit through a blend comprised of 4 types of berries and 7 herbs native to the region.
Join us in welcoming this Patagonia Spirit to Denver!
Adolfo Romero “El Cholfo” , is a chilean visual artist , songwriter , poet and cultural project developer currently residing in Colorado. His visual work includes a series of techniques that are always searching for symbolic relationships within the self and reunion with its origins in the social world and history. He has already shown his artwork at the Denver Art Museum. As musician, works in charge of the musicals of Su Teatro, as well as collaborates in some Latin bands.
“My musical compositions are based on the existential reflection of humankind and the social issues, understanding the mission of singing and guitar as a permanent search for reasons and new forms. In addition, I love interpreting the South American music of each country, specially Chile my land, as this is an essential part of my roots”.
Adolfo will be accompanied by The Cornejo Brothers (Ivan & Nico). They have been playing together since they were both very young. Born in Santiago, Chile they were raised with traditional Andean music that was passed down from their father. Today they will share their Andean musical influences with modern day music.
We believe Live Jazz should be as accessible as possible. As always there is no cover charge.
